• First on foremost, we ask all members to follow all existing government guidelines and only attend sessions if they are fit and well enough to do so.
  • All members must fill out the ‘return to play’ covid form before attending their first session. This is a requirement of British Triathlon/Triathlon England and as such, anyone who does not fill out the form will not be able to return to club sessions.
  • The form must be sent to the ELT Covid Officer.
  • For each session, we will be logging who attends for the purpose of test and trace, your details (name and contact details) will be kept securely for 21 days for the purpose of NHS test and trace. Additionally, you understand that your details may be passed onto NHS test and trace if they are requested, by them, for the purpose of track and trace (see ELT Privacy notice on website).
  • Anyone displaying symptoms or who has been asked to self-isolate as part of the NHS test and trace system must not participate.
  • Participants must read and follow the necessary hygiene precautions.
  • Participants should remain 2m apart, especially including before and after the activity.
  • Anyone not following the rules will be asked to leave the session and may not be permitted to join future sessions.
  • We will keep a record of the participants for the purposes of the NHS test and trace system. Records will be kept for 21 days per the Government’s guidance.
  • Gloves and masks are not necessary whilst participating in these sessions and running in a mask is not recommended at all but you are welcome to wear them if that is your choice.
  • Run- Forest
    • Forest runs will start on Saturday April 4th from Butler’s Retreat. The rota for the 09:30 will be published on the website before the first session. This will be a steady effort (with warm up/down) and no runners will be left behind. The 9.45am running sessions will also restart on 3rd April. They involve 30min run for anyone needing or wanting to go slower and shorter. They will be led weekly.
    • The session will be restricted to a maximum of 12 people, including the run leader.
    • If there are more than 12, we will split into smaller groups and head to different locations.
    • The run lead will take the details of those attending or the purpose of test and trace.
  • Run- Track
    • Track sessions will return from Wednesday 31st March, 19:30-20:30. There is no need to book, but sessions are capped to 20 runners, based on the standard coach/athlete ratio.
    • Members will need to pay at reception.
    • Members must arrive promptly to ensure names can be logged and sessions can start on time.
    • A picture will be taken of the group, for the purposes of test and trace.
  • Cycle
    • These will be non-led activities and will be for groups to arranging meeting in advance. Sunday group rides will commence from the castle on April 4th, the pace/duration of these activities will be group dictated.
    • Groups will be limited to 6 riders per group.
    • Groups must take a picture of their 6 riders and submit to Discord so we can keep for 21 days for test and trace.
  • Swim
    • We are currently working through the most recent updates and working with the pool at The Feel-Good Centre to get swimming back up and running as quickly as possible.
